Trail Guide to Mount Washington and the Presidential Range

The Appalachian Mountain Club’s White Mountain Guide is renowned for its comprehensive hiking trail coverage of New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest region. Locals and visitors alike have relied on this guide for over 100 years. But, over those years, the guide has grown as more and more trails and trail systems have been developed. This abridgment of the guide includes the first two (and most popular) sections, covering the entire Presidential Range in a more portable package.

Each trail description features turn-by-turn directions and easy-to-follow statistics, charting cumulative distance, elevation, and time. Combined with essential safety, camping, and road access information, this guide is any outdoor adventurer’s shortcut to great Presidential hiking.
